Harry Spero & Noah Chenfeld
Harry knew Noah before Noah was born. Noah’s parents have been among Harry’s top 13 or 14 friends on the planet for over 30 years. Harry recognized Noah’s talents early on and they have written a handful of songs together in the last few years.
The first song, Is It Corona Good? came about as a happy accident. All of these normal things that were happening, were suddenly to be judged, graded, or observed through a different lens. Were they good or were they corona good?
But the pandemic pivot developed when a friend of Harry’s asked if there was going to be a follow up song, and she said how about the Pandemic Pivot? A week later Harry woke up and wrote the lyrics, handed them to Noah who wrote the music, kind of a Talking Heads meets Prince dance track, and did a demo and a week after a new dance sensation was born!
After the song had been written and the demo was recorded, Harry came up with a phrase that cemented the idea of the dance: “we need something to keep us together in order to keep us apart”. Noah quickly added those words to the beginning of the song, and then to the end, bookending an already catchy, danceable song that should bring a smile to your face!
